Fostering Connection—Why a Community Engagement Role?

At East Hills, one of our core values is relationships.  We believe that connection is what fosters incredible community and that by working together in community, we can see children succeed.  This takes the teacher-child relationship, the teacher-parent relationship, and even the teacher-administration relationship.

At East Hills, we don’t just want to say this; we want to foster this relationship. That’s why we have a Director of Community Engagement and Enrollment. Once you reach out to your school, you will have a person reach out to you directly and walk you through the entire enrollment process, a person in town who you can meet face-to-face.  If you have specific needs, Brandon will reach out to you and see what we can do to assess those needs and see what East Hills can provide.

It has been said that every child needs a village, so we want to provide that village. From a teacher who serves as your child’s educational champion, to a teacher assistant supporting the learning process, to a principal who ensures teachers thrive while personally knowing each student, and finally to the administration, including the Executive Director and Director of Community Engagement, you have a full village partnering with you in your child’s success.

If it takes a village, we have one. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, and one of our amazing staff will reach out to you. We will be hosting a variety of events throughout the year leading up to our August 2026 launch. Be on the lookout for opportunities to meet us at libraries, parks, grocery stores, and family events.  We hope to connect with you soon.
